The axis Augustijnenlaan, Belgiëlaan and Olympiadelaan (ABO) is an important link in the mobility settlement of Herentals.

In these concept studies, we investigated how to turn this wide car-oriented road into a large public space in the middle of the city of tomorrow.

We are looking for how the ABO-axis can meet the new requirements of a modern city such as climate adaptation, renewable energy, identity and shopping experience.

For a year, the design team experiments and turns the ABO into an L-ABO.
